The beat clip is a piece of sports equipment that receives the signals of a standard heart rate chest strap and converts them to digital signals for Bluetooth® enabled devices like mobile phones.
The beat clip permits the live of heart rate values on the receiving device. With the help of licensable software libraries further values like calorie consumption, heart rate variability and training efficiency can be calculated in real time.
The BeatClip communicates via Bluetooth Bluetooth® Wireless Technology with mobile phones or other electronical devices like Bluetooth access points in fitness centers, a Home-PC or the PDA of rehab staff.
